Florian Berl was born in 1984 in Neunkirchen (Lower Austria).
After his school-leaving examination at the HTL Mödling (building construction), he first worked in his parents' construction business before studying law at the University of Vienna, where he received his doctorate in 2013. Florian Berl was awarded the Environmental and Technology Law Prize 2013 for his dissertation "The Duties of the Waste Owner in the Waste Management Act 2002".
He already joined our law firm during his studies as a student assistant and became a partner in 2015.
Florian Berl's practice focuses on environmental, industrial and plant law (especially in the fields of renewable energies, waste management and nature conservation, but also in water, trade and construction law and in proceedings under the Environmental Impact Assessment Act), public commercial law/constitutional law and administrative and administrative criminal proceedings.
In addition to his work as a lawyer, he has been a lecturer for waste management law at the University of Vienna since the winter semester 2015/2016 and is well known through publications on environmental, waste, construction and administrative procedural law.
